Guoan Fall to Fourth in CSL Title Race After Loss

The Guangdong Province Football Association announced that Guoan FC, the team representing Guangdong Province in the Chinese Professional Soccer League (CSL), had lost their match against Jiangsu Suning on Sunday. This result has put them fourth in the league standings, behind leaders Beijing Guoan and runners-up Shanghai SIPG.

Despite the loss, Guoan FC coach Zhang Jindong remains optimistic about his team's chances in the championship race. "We have still been playing well this season, and we're confident that we can improve our performance," he said. "Our goal is to win as many games as possible to maintain our position in the top four."

On the other hand, Jiangsu Suning manager Luo Junfeng was more cautious about his team's chances. "It's not easy for us to beat such a strong opponent like Guangdong, but we'll keep working hard to improve our performance and try to make up for the defeat," he said.
